La Lunfardita nace en la capital madrileña bajo la luz del jazz y el regazo del tango. Una voz argentina, la guitarra de los gitanos europeos, el acordeón y el contrabajo abren el camino para que ambos estilos se desarrollen y crezcan juntos.
Instantáneamente surge la necesidad de hablar el dialecto del barrio de Caminito con acento francés, de ponerle un nuevo sonido a la amistad, de crear algo que les represente musicalmente.
El repertorio En el concierto, La Lunfardita interpretará una selección de tangos compuestos por Carlos Gardel, Astor Piazzolla, Aníbal Troilo o Joe Pugliese, adaptados a la herencia musical del jazz manouche.
