Pere Miró, especializado en el saxo barítono, es uno de los músicos más activos en la escena de jazz, blues y música jamaicana de nuestro país. Ha publicado 11 discos propios y actúa liderando las bandas Scaramanga, Tro y PM vs PM, además de ser miembro de The Gramophone Allstars Big Band, Skatalà, la banda de Dani Nel·lo, The Big Jamboree, Martín Burguez Rhythm Combo y La Rauxa.
Licenciado en jazz por la ESMUC, también se dedica a la composición, a impartir charlas pedagógicas y divulgativas, a escribir arreglos y a la docencia.
